Memorial Midtown Station
Dual Center System
With the opening of the Memorial Midtown Station in 2001, Tulsa Transit was able to implement a dual-center system. This approach to transit service in Tulsa allowed buses to transfer outside the downtown area. It helped to provide better transportation to the south and east parts of Tulsa.
The Dual-center approach was chosen as the most cost-effective way of providing better service to our passengers. With two transfer hubs, Tulsa Transit allows customers better opportunities to change buses.
