Re-Opening Plan – June 1

RE-OPENING PLAN – JUNE 1

We will begin a trial re-opening of Denver Avenue Station with some restrictions and free fare will continue until June 8. This will be dependent upon the improvement of the community, demand and continued compliance of social distancing policies by Tulsa Transit riders:

  • DAS Re-opening:
    • Hours: Monday-Friday, 7AM to 6PM
    • Only 8 people allowed inside at a time
    • No inside seating access
    • One way entry
    • Station access will be limited to utilizing restroom facilities and fare purchases
    • Designated floor markers will be utilized to keep 6ft of distance from others
    • Face masks are continued to be highly recommended
    • Midtown Memorial Station will remained closed until further notice
  • Free Fares extended to June 8
    • Beginning Monday, June 8 all routes will require fare
    • Continued social distancing policies will be in effect until further notice
      • Keeping 3ft of distance between yourself and others
      • Limited vehicle capacity by driver discretion
      • Wearing face masks while traveling
      • However, riders will board through the front door once fares are required

PHASE TWO – MAY 15

Phase Two will include  free fares  extended to May 31 as conditions warrant and a return to full-level service with continued social distancing policies.

This will be dependent upon the improvement of the community, demand and continued compliance of social distancing policies by Tulsa Transit riders:

  • Full-level of service
  • Free fare extended through May 31st
  • Keeping 3ft of distance between yourself and others
  • Continued limited vehicle capacity by driver discretion
  • Wearing face masks while traveling
  • April service changes will be effective starting Sunday, May 17:
    • Route 150 (minor timing changes)
    • Route 700 (minor timing changes and SB routing out of Downtown)
    • Route 600 (Gathering Place Shuttle, not in operation until further notice)
    • Call Center hours will not change, to better serve our riders during this time

PHASE ONE – MAY 1

  • Keeping 3ft of distance between yourself and others
  • Limited vehicle capacity by driver discretion
  • Boarding/de-boarding the rear door of the bus
  • Using transportation for essential trips
  • Wearing face masks while traveling
