Station Closures – Effective 3/17
Tulsa Transit Update Regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Following the recommendation of the Tulsa Health Department, Tulsa Transit will close the inside waiting areas of Denver Avenue Station and Memorial Midtown Station effective March 17, 2020.
Services will otherwise be unaffected. Riders will still be able to utilize all outdoor bays at either station for boarding and de-boarding buses. There will be no customer service attendant on duty; to purchase passes visit a participating Quik Trips or our website at http://tulsatransit.org/fares-passes/.
The Tulsa Health Department recommended this action “out of an abundance of caution” to reduce the introduction and slow the spread of the virus.
Tulsa Transit is committed to operating at a full level of service. Routes will maintain normal operation while management staff closely monitors the situation and continues to stay in contact with local officials. Riders are encouraged to continue to follow precautionary measures while traveling:
- Regularly washing your hands
- Covering coughs and sneezes
- Avoiding touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
- Staying home when you feel sick
